The 6 Megapixel scan produces an image that is roughly 2500x2500 pixels. This print is good for printing up to an 8x8 or 10x10 image. If you want to print larger than this or you will be cropping a portion of the image to print then you might opt for the 25 megapixel scan.
The 25 Megapixel scan produces an image that is roughly 5000x5000 pixels. This can be used to print a 16x16 or 20x20. Upon request we can scan medium format film up to 80 megapixels at no additional charge but this creates very large file sizes that are not easy to work with. For Professional applications you may need an extremely high resolution image and we can provide that for you. Tell us your needs and we will work with you.
