STANDARD 35mm SLIDE SCANNING: This is a high resolution scan of 5 megapixels (2000 dpi) explain resolution? (equivalent to very high end home digital cameras). Focus and lighting are automatically calibrated during the scanning process, and the images are oriented correctly. This option is good for viewing images on computer or TV screens, printing sizes up to 8x10, and archiving 35mm slides in a high quality, economical way. Digital ICE4™What is this?, a powerful dust and scratch removal system, is applied to each image. Compare a sample image to the same slide scanned without DigitalICE - notice that DigitalICE4 removed a majority of the dust.

This level of slide scanning does include some manual color correction and lighting correction by our digital artists but not as much as the Deluxe level. It does not include cropping so there may be some black borders on the sides of the image as shown above. Advanced color correction and cropping are included at the Deluxe Slide Scanning level.
