Photo scanning is different from scanning transparencies in several respects. It is a reflective scan instead of a film scan which just means that light is reflected off of the material rather than being passed through it. Most flatbed scanners also are scanning your photo through a piece of glass which can cause some distortion if not handled properly.
Our scan technicians understand the special details involved in getting the best results from scanning photographs. Our company has scanned traditional photos, t-shirts, quilts, original artwork, scrapbooks, blue prints, etc. If you can think of it, we can convert it to digital.
