We safeguard your materials
The only thing more important than image quality is the physical safety of your slides and the digital safety of their scanned images. Once your slides are here at our facility in Raleigh, N.C. they will not leave this building until they are shipped back to you. We do not outsource your slides anywhere for anything. We have many procedures that help to avoid losses of photographic materials.
We recommend using UPS or FedEx to ship your packages to us. The tracking methods of the big two private carriers are very advanced and it is easier to track down a slow or missing package with them. This doesn't mean that USPS is unreliable, about half of our clients have used US Postal System and we have never had a loss with USPS, UPS, FedEx or any carrier.
Our facility has a silent alarm system with surveilance camera protection. It is a well secured location and it is climate controlled to protect your film and slides.
When we ship your slides back to you with the DVDs or CDs, we keep digital copies of all the image files here in our local secured server. This means that there is a safety backup in case a package is ever lost in return shipping. We keep these files on backup for about 90 days after we ship your order then they are archived for deletion.
