Which type of slide do I have?
The
standard 35mm slide is the most common type of slide produced. The 127
SuperSlide is the exact same size as a standard 35mm slide card but
the film area extends almost all the way to the edge. If these are not
scanned separate from the standard 35mm slides there will be part of
the image cropped off. We scan the 127 format using a custom film scanner
so that you get all of the image in the scan. The 120/220 medium format
film can come in a large slide card (shown above) or they can be loose
film frames. The charge is the same for scanning this type regardless
of whether it is loose film or a carded slide.
